“与企业家面对面” - 蔡伟鸿先生独家对话会

纽约青年企业家俱乐部核心会员与纽约成功企业家蔡伟鸿先生在 BroadtradeGroup 总部举行了一次不公开的独家对话会。在与蔡伟鸿先生对话中,不但解开了企业家成功的密码,也让现场不同背景的各位来宾获得深刻的感悟。

蔡伟鸿先生 (DanielCai) 的公司 BroadtradeGroup 于2003成立起,快速发展为拥有近200名建筑专业人员的顶尖全方位建筑服务提供商,为纽约市最好的建筑提供高品质的水暖,电气,火灾报警,暖通空调,太阳能电池板安装等服务。蔡先生的公司拥有建筑工程服务业的全执照 (construction, electrical, fire alarm, plumbing, sprinkler),在同行里凤毛菱角,且在曼哈顿仅此一家。

其实蔡先生本人的英文水平非常有限,参会者都非常好奇,蔡先生是如何在语言不通的情况下,带领公司成为建筑服务行业中的佼佼者的?

 

蔡先生说,“为什么我不懂英语可以生存?为什么我可以拿到主流地产项目?我只懂简单的工程英文词汇,不会酬言。为了能跟客户对答如流,我就得提前把所有问题都在脑子里准备好,整个方案的细节都背下来。和客户开会我从来不带纸笔,一坐下来就直入正题。客户觉得我比他对专业项目还熟悉,最关键是在去见客户前已经帮他们想好了所有可能出现的困难和解决方案。对方都是几十年做这行,很懂行,用不用心一下就能看出来。我不会英文,反而超过了英文流利的人。因为我够谦卑,够用心。”

现场的年轻企业家还积极请教了蔡伟鸿先生如何获得第一个客户,如果培养团队,如何预测行业周期等诸多问题。蔡伟鸿先生都无所保留地和现场分享了他的宝贵经验。“未来是你们年轻人的。我们公司中主力的干将都只有20,30岁,但都是身经百战,每天有机会和几十年经验以上的客户和职业人士打交道。我将来退休后,公司是他们的。”蔡伟鸿眼神中流露出对年轻人的信任和骄傲。
